If you're in the market for a bald head shaver, you want to make sure you find the best one for your needs. The right shaver can make all the difference in the outcome of your grooming routine. When shopping for a bald head shaver, you'll want to consider factors such as blade type, motor power, and handle grip. Some shavers are designed specifically for bald heads, while others may be more suitable for maintaining a closely-cropped hairstyle. It's important to research and compare different models before making a purchase to ensure you're getting the best product for your money.
The Electric shavers are certainly a lot more convenient and easier to use than razors. They come with the best functions, extra features and accessories, which will make your shaving process more than just a daily routine, but an enjoyable process.
The process of finding the best head shaver might not be that obvious so here are some key points of an electric shaver you should look for.
Electric shavers come in two types: foil and rotary. A rotary shaver usually comes with three or more circular heads moving in rotation on the full blade head. The foil shaver comes with oscillating blades covered with a foil sheet. The foil sheet pulls the hair inside and it's cut by the blades. Foil vs rotary shaver: the decision is yours to make.
The best bald head shavers work great with both wet and dry shaving. Using your foil or rotary electric shaver with shaving foam or cream will provide more comfort and the hot water will soften your hair and nicely prepare your skin for a smoother shave. However, many people prefer a quick dry shave, that is for, electric shavers are the best.
All head shavers require cleaning maintenance. Some of them will have to be cleaned out on a daily basis, while others will only need periodic cleanings.
Usually, rotary shavers come with blades that are designed to capture shaved hair inside their large shaving chambers. Those removable rotary blades normally come off in a snap, making it easy to give your blades a deep clean inside and out, which extends the blade life and keeps your shaves as smooth as day one.
If you choose a shaver with the option of cordless use, you’d want to look into the battery life. How long will you be able to use the razor on a full charge? How long does it take the shaver to be fully charged?
Many head shavers come with an integrated lithium-ion battery, which allows quick charging and a long duration of cordless use. This gives you the freedom to shave anywhere and anytime at your convenience.
The best head shavers are made with both travel and comfort in mind, and often have advanced features and accessories that help to ensure a comfortable shaving experience.
Electric head shavers can vary widely in price. When choosing one, it's important to find a model that fits your budget and has good quality. Keep in mind that you'll need to replace the blades every 3-6 months, so factor the cost of those into your decision. It's also important to make sure that the overall cost of maintaining the shaver fits into your budget.
When considering an electric head razor, it's important to think about the warranty that comes with it. If your shaver experiences a problem, you may need to get it repaired or replaced. A manufacturer's warranty can protect you from additional costs in these situations, as the manufacturer may provide you with a new shaver at no extra charge.
When coming to the best head shaver, you need to look for a product that will last long with quality and design.

Men's heads often have contours that require a careful and smooth shave without causing razor burns or irritation. One of the main causes of irritation is applying too much pressure during the shave. The Skull Shaver PRO blades are spring-loaded and will retract into the housing if pressed too hard, which helps to maintain the right amount of pressure against the skin to minimize irritation. If you do happen to press too hard, the shaver will also slow down, alerting you to decrease the pressure. The Skull Shaver allows you to shave in the way that you prefer, whether it be wet or dry, with or without shaving foam, and consistently delivers impeccable results.
The bald head shavers by Skull Shaver are covered with a 2-year warranty, starting from the date of the purchase. The warranty includes any defects or faults in manufacture or workmanship.

A rotary shaver usually comes with three or more circular heads moving in rotation on the full blade head. The movement of the rotation is in circular motions, with any direction you prefer while shaving.
The circular shaving heads are designed to follow the contour of your face, head, neck and any other part of your body. Due to the rotation of the heads, all the hair is captured, despite the direction of the hair growth and thickness. The rotating blades make it easier to glide over difficult and hard-to-reach areas such as the jawline, ears, Adam’s apple or, if you have higher cheekbones, etc.
The rotary shaver gives you more flexibility of movement while shaving. You won’t have any limitations when choosing which direction to shave, as they have multidirectional capabilities.
In other words, rotary shavers are spinning blades that retract into their housing (full blade head).

As seen above, the rotary shaver comes with 3 or more circular heads moving in rotation. The blades move in a circular motion, in different directions. By that, they capture the hair inside the blades and achieve a maximum close and clean shave.

A foil shaver works differently. It comes with bouncing blades covered with foil sheet, retracted in the housing (body of the shaver).
First things first let’s understand what the foil is. It is a thin sheet of metal with holes in the foil. The function of the foil is important as it covers the cutting blades and becomes a barrier between your skin and the blades to ensure maximum security while shaving.. The foil sheet pulls the hair inside and is cut by the blades, giving a close shave. The foil shaver must be used in a straight line. The blades move in one direction, either up and down, or left and right. So, you will have to move the foil shaver in an opposite direction of the blades’ movement following the direction of your hair growth, to get the best results.

As seen above, the foil shaver consists of bouncing blades covered with a foil sheet, and the body of the shaver. The foil sheet pulls the hair inside, where the hair is cut by the blades, giving you the closest and smoothest shave.
Now let’s understand the differences between rotary and foil shavers, see the pros and cons of both the shavers and summarize their advantages and disadvantages.
Here are 5 main differences between rotary and foil shavers:
Here is a comparison chart for all the differences presented above.

Your eventual choice of the shaver would certainly depend on your shaving habits, hair and skin type as well as personal preferences. However, we hope this article will help you in your decision making process.
Have you ever noticed bald heads shining and you wonder how it happens? Here are the main reasons why bald men have shiny heads. Think about what will happen if you don’t wash your hair for days. It will get greasy and oily, right? This oil-like substance on your hair is called sebum and basically works as a lubricant. Sebum continues to be produced even in the absence of hair, bald people produce as much sebum as people who have hair on their heads, and sweat glands continue to function. If a person had hair, it would absorb everything, and when there is no hair, the secretions accumulate on the head. This causes the reflection of light and makes bald heads shiny.
As we know, everyone has their own taste and preferences, and it’s totally normal that some people who shave their heads believe that a little shine to their bald head makes them more attractive and handsome. Yet, not everyone is proud of their shiny bald head, and they are seeking for a more matte look. Thus, we have a group of bald men who are looking for ways to make their heads shiny, and the other group, that is making efforts to eliminate the shine on their bald heads. So, the aim of this article is to respond to the needs of these two different types of men proposing effective ways for how to make one’s bald head shiny, at the same time solutions for those who wish to eliminate the shine on their bald head.
As mentioned above, bald heads can have a natural shine on them for some reasons, but they can get shiny due to some shaving tips as well. Some people believe that if they have a bald head, there is no need to take care of it. In fact, this is not the case. This “hairstyle” requires regular maintenance, and if you have a bald head and plus you prefer to have some shine on your head, you need to follow some tips to get the desirable results.
Firstly, you should practice proper shaving methods to make your bald head shine.
If you want to have a clean and smooth bald shave and keep your head hydrated and your skin glowing, you can use various moisturizing creams, skin cleansers, oils, and waxes.
These kinds of products vary mostly in what ingredients they contain and the quality of those ingredients. In order to avoid any kind of irritation on your scalp, you should use moisturizers mainly with natural ingredients.
We are excited to share with you some products that are made from high-quality ingredients and will make your head not only look shiny but also feel healthier.

Let’s dive in!

How you can prevent the shaving rash if you have one? How it's different from razor bumps?
Let's check the differences between them!
Shaving rash, or razor burn, is a skin irritation that can be caused by dry shaving, shaving too harsh and rude, shaving with dull blades, or having too sensitive skin. It usually appears on the head, face, neck, legs, and pubes. The irritated part becomes red, and the skin texture differs from usual. It can feel like a burning or itching sensation, which gradually goes away when it gets healed. Other symptoms of razor burn may be redness, itching, stinging sensation and bumps.

Aren’t shaving bumps the same as razor burns?
Razor burn and razor bumps are often encountered together, but they are actually 2 different skin conditions. Razor bumps are caused by ingrown hair, trapped inside the pore, which causes a bump to form. They occur after using hair removal techniques such as shaving, waxing, and plucking. Also, they appear after shaving rash.
You may ask yourself, “Why do I always get a shaving rash or shaving bumps on my skin?", "What am I doing wrong?”
Let’s see some causes of how we get a shaving rash on the skin.
Sensitive skin is skin with reduced tolerance to cosmetics and skincare products, shaving methods and anything that can affect it. If your skin is sensitive, it may be easily triggered by different shaving methods and be more vulnerable to razor burn. Therefore, you will need to protect your skin with before-and-after skincare products in order to avoid a shaving rash.

As mentioned above, the skin rash can appear on different parts of the body depending on the skin type, the frequency of shaving the same spot, the skincare routine, and the products applied after shaving. One of the most unwanted areas for a razor burn is the head because, unfortunately, it is the most visible one.
Here are practical steps on how to avoid shaving rash and razor bumps on the head.
“Dry shaving causes micro-cuts in the skin, as well as folliculitis, ingrown, irritation, and dryness,” says Melissa Kanchanapoomi Levin, MD, dermatologist and founder of Entière Dermatology.
And according to Dr Hadley King, "If you don't use a product with emollients and occlusive to protect and moisturize the skin, you can end up with abrasions and irritation — this is razor burn."
Using the right shaver is the key to a comfortable shave. One of the most important features the shaver should have is sharp blades. Whether it’s a razor or an electric shaver, make sure to keep the blades sharp. For that, we recommend replacing the blades regularly. Moreover, wash the blades after each use to keep them clean and hygienic for the next shave. The electric razors are perfect for shaving heads, so the best you can do is shave your head with an electric razor. Choose an electric razor that has both wet and dry shaving options to prevent razor burn. As we have seen previously, wet shaving can be beneficial and more convenient for men with sensitive skin. For the latter, I would recommend using a blade, specifically designed for your sensitive skin. The choice of the right blade can save you from shaving rash. If you have sensitive skin, you will love the Baron blade that features three cutting rings per shaving head, to provide a safer cut for you.
An aftershave product can help you to prevent the rash after shaving the head. It’s one of the best ways to avoid the discomfort that may occur after shaving. Aftershave is essential for men with sensitive skin to prevent rash, irritation, skin dryness and help calm redness and itching. So the purpose of aftershave is not only to make the skin refreshed and nicely scented but also to prevent razor burn after the shave. In addition, it provides extra protection to your skin and helps it to maintain skin hygiene.
“Never, ever skip moisturizing the skin after a shave. It’s essential to moisturize immediately out of the shower to lock in the moisture and reduce inflammation from shaving,” says Marnie Nussbaum, MD, dermatologist.
You may wonder how to build your skincare routine?
A skincare routine consists of three main steps: cleansing, toning, and moisturizing. It is important to follow the correct order, to get the skin of your dreams.
Your first step should be a warm shower to soften your skin and hair. The next step is to apply the scrub in order to exfoliate the skin, prepare it and remove the dead skin cells. After this, the skin will be ready for shaving without getting nicks and cuts. When you are done with shaving, apply toners and moisturizers (aftershave products). This routine will help you prevent rash after shaving your head.
“Wash your razor every two to three strokes. Rinse skin with cool water after you shave and pat skin dry. Also, do not shave over the same area more than once. Use shaving cream and gel: these textures coat the hair and enhance the glide of the razor against skin, helping minimize potential skin irritation,” says Joshua Zeichner, MD, director of cosmetic and clinical research at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Practical steps to prevent bumps:
“Exfoliating your head prior to shaving will remove the dead skin cells, allowing easier gliding and better hair removal, which will also dramatically decrease razor bumps and ingrown hair,” says Marnie Nussbaum, MD, dermatologist.
While all of the above helps prevent shaving rash, you’d likely want to know what to do if you already have one. So how to treat razor burn on your head and speed up the healing process.
“One of the best treatments for razor burn is no treatment!” says Robert Finney, MD, a dermatologist.
In order to help your skin cure faster, avoid touching the affected area of the skin. Moreover, stop shaving the affected area so that it heals faster.
What are the main treatments to speed up the healing process?

To sum up
While razor bumps and shaving rash can become really annoying, they generally do not cause serious health problems and can be treated at home.
We hope this guide will help you understand where to start from.
However, if the home remedies do not work, consider seeing a doctor or dermatologist for professional advice.

The purpose of hats, initially, was to cover and protect bald heads. However, the concept of wearing hats back then was different compared to now. Men with less hair or bald head were not feeling comfortable with their appearance. So, they had to wear hats to hide their heads. It was only later when more men started wearing hats as stylish accessories.
Nowadays, hats are considered a must-have accessory for any man who likes style. Men's hats are versatile, practical, and can add an accent to any look.
Bald or not, a hat is an accessory that any man has in his wardrobe, however, a shaved head has some specificities that need to be taken into account when buying or wearing a hat.
In this article, we would like to discuss the main factors to consider when choosing a hat for bald men according to face shape and many other factors and reveal the trending and cool hats for men of 2023.
While a hat is a common accessory most of us have, it is hard to choose one when there is a large variety of styles, shapes, and forms. The important thing to remember is that the type of hat for each person will heavily depend on the face shape and hairstyle (bald in our case). So we’ve come up with a short guide that would help make the right choice for you based on your face shape below:

A long-shaped face is noticeably longer. The forehead, cheekbones, and chin are equal in width, and the chin is a bit round.
It is recommended to wear cowboy hats, sunhats, wide brims, or hats that cut across the forehead to visually shorten the effect of a long face.

A round-shaped face is like a square-shaped face with softer angles. Fedora or cloche hats will work best for round faces. Leaning toward these hats styles works best here since they visually make your face look longer.

A square-shaped face has width around the forehead, cheekbones, and jaw parts.
With the square face, floppy and wide brims can go best. A cloche is also great for this type of face shape. The square face has a strong jawline, which can look exaggerated due to angled hats; that is why angled hats are not recommended if you have a square-shaped face.

An oval-shaped face is slightly longer, more similar to the shape of an egg, and the cheekbones are a bit wider than the jaw and forehead; they are rounded.
Here the situation is easy; bald men with the oval face have versatility in the choice of hats, as the oval-shaped face goes nearly with any hat style.

A diamond-shaped face is wider around the top of the head and has a narrow jawline. The best option for the diamond-shaped face is pull-on or pork pie.
Comfort - You need to pay close attention to the size and the material of a hat because comfort is key when you wear a hat for a couple of hours. So when choosing a hat, consider whether it's comfortable for you to wear it and make sure the size is a good fit and especially the interior material is not synthetic, to avoid sweating and irritation.
Latest trends - Whether you like it or not, a hat is a fashion accessory, and sure before buying one, you’d want to keep up with the latest fashion trends. You can always get inspired by trends and incorporate them into your everyday look. For instance, recently 90’s style has become very popular among youth. As a result, many young people started to experiment with vintage clothing: classic leather jackets, oversized flannels, baggy jeans, etc. The same applies to hats. So check our style guide for 2023 to make sure your look rocks!

Newsboy Cap
The early 19th old school caps are making a huge comeback. Many bald men got inspired to wear the flat hats by Thomas Shelby, the main character of Peaky Blinders. And Thomas Shelby is the character every woman falls for indeed. A newsboy cap is also known as a flat cap. Golf hats for men are easy to confuse with flat caps, but they are not the same. Flat caps can be worn both with casual as well as formal clothing. You can wear flat caps in any season, and they are always in trend as they represent a classic fashion accessory.

Fedora hat
The fedora is the most iconic and popular hat of all time. Fedora first originated in Great Britain in the 90s. The fedora has a unique design and is one of the best hats for bald men to spice up their looks. Interestingly, the fedora is very popular, particularly among bald men. That is because the fedora is a great choice if a bald man wants to protect his head and at the same time look stylish. The hat provides outstanding scalp coverage because the brim surrounds the hat and covers the forehead from the sun. Also, fedoras are considered one of the best winter hats for men.

Bucket hat
The bucket hats are back and have an interesting story. They became popular during the '90s when rap artists mostly wore them. Bucket hats feature wide, downward-sloping brims, resembling an inverted bucket. You can style the bucket hat with a bomber jacket for that sophisticated retro look and spice up your "bald with beard" look with a nice Goatee beard.

Pork Pie hat
Everyone knows the TV show Breaking Bad and everyone, for sure, remembers the main character and the famous hat that he always wears. Yes, it is the renowned hat which is known as the pork pie hat. The shape of the hat is small and round, and the brim is narrow. The hat was very popular during the 19th century. The 19th trend continues to stay popular among men, especially among bald men, inspired by the main character of the Breaking Bad series. And guess what? He’s bald too!
The pork pie can be worn to complete either a formal or casual outfit.

Trilby hat
The trilby and fedora have a lot in common and sometimes are easy to confuse; however, trilby is a different type of hat. The trilby features a smaller brim and taller crown than the fedora. Trilbies are comfortable and can be worn during warm weather. The interesting fact is that throughout history, the trilby was very popular among the high society. Rich men preferred to wear trilby at luxury events and could often wear it during horse races.

Beanie hat
The beanie is the standard casual look. It's warm, comfortable, and has thousands of colors to keep your bald head warm and stylish. The beanie has become essential for any bald men's wardrobe as it is convenient and can be worn every day. It goes nearly with any outfit, from the office look to the city hipster, and you can wear it in fall, winter, and spring.

Trucker hat
Tracker hats for men are very popular. The back part of a hat protects you from the sun during hot summer days. The only disadvantage is that you can't wear it all year round as it is not always appropriate for the weather.
So what is the best way to style the trucker hats for men? It will go best with a casual outfit like jeans and a T-shirt.
FAQ
To ensure you are not left with any questions, we have found the most common questions bald men asked and answered them for you!

Being a bald man becomes less enjoyable when it gets colder, as you need to cover your head to keep it warm. Keeps the shine at bay, though would probably need reapplying once throughout the day. It's kept any pesky spots at bay and seems to be doing a good job. Skin looks healthier and feels much nicer. I'll definitely buy this again.”

Recommend this product ”
Please, make sure to also read the instructions on the packaging when using the product, as it may contain specific instructions on how to use the aftershave or on how much aftershave to use.
Here is a little comparison chart for all the products presented above

Do you believe the aftershave and the moisturizer combat the same issue?
These two are designed for different purposes. A moisturizer helps with dry skin, and the aftershave soothes irritation after your shave. Although the aftershave will have moisturizing properties, you should use a good moisturizer to give your skin the best solution against dryness.
And finally, the aftershave always looks pretty cool in the movies. A well-dressed gentleman would give himself a flawless shave followed by a smack on the cheeks with a small amount of aftershave. Why don't you create your own "movie", where you are the Hero, who enjoys shaving and putting on an aftershave?

Let’s start with some statistics on the causes of baldness. In fact, about 40% of men have noticeable hair loss by the age of 35. Most of them notice they start losing hair in their early 20s.

If you are lucky enough not to have the “bald gene” in your DNA, either lose your hair because of hormonal changes, then follow your nutrition and keep calm because poor nutrition and stress are among other reasons that cause baldness.
It’s always subjective but let’s now find out if being bald is attractive and what are the common traits that bald men share.
It would be fair to say that high testosterone levels in men’s organisms are highly correlated with the risks of going bald. Dihydrotestosterone or DHT is found in skin, hair follicles, and the prostate. It is the derivative of testosterone, and it can lead to hair loss depending on the hair sensitivity to it. That’s why when women are asked “is bald attractive” they tend to answer that bald men are much stronger, more brutal, more masculine, and powerful.
Fun fact: If you’re a sapiosexual, you are most likely to like bald men, too!
A study at the University of Saarland found that bald men tend to be seen as more intelligent and wiser by women. But what’s the reason to think so? Is that because bald men might have lost their hair due to their extraordinary intellectual abilities? Or is that because bald men accept the philosophy of “Less is More” instead of pretending to be someone else? Anyways, being bald is often perceived as being more mature, and that’s another reason why being bald is a sign of intelligence for women.
There's one catch, though. You have to be completely bald for the sexy perception to apply because men with bald spots or patterned baldness tend to be seen as weak and less attractive. To make our point, we found an interesting experiment for you.
A guy named Richard, who was going bald in his early thirties, opened two different accounts on Tinder: He posted pictures of himself where he has bald spots in the first account and the ones with hair transplants in the second one. Results: He got twice more likes in the account where he’s wearing hair transplants. The experiment showed that women are more likely to like a guy with a full head of hair rather than a balding guy.
Another research was conducted by a scientist named Albert E. Mannes (by the way, he was bald) at the University of Pennsylvania. The study compiled information from 59 subjects and showed the participants multiple photos of men. For example, a man with a full head of hair was shown in one photo vs. the same man with no hair on the second photo. Surprisingly, most participants reported the bald man to be more attractive compared with non-bald man.
We have dived deeper and found thoughts and opinions of women on several forums such as Reddit and Quora to understand if bald is attractive for women, whether women like dating a bald guy and to get an answer to the question “Would you date a bald guy?”.
“I fell in love with a guy going bald 17 yrs ago and we’ve been married now 16 years. He’s still bald (of course) and I still love him. It’s so much more about who he is as an amazing guy than it would ever be about whether he had hair or not. And I think that’s true for anyone. It’s the self confidence, sense of humor, personality and wit that will always be it for me. Oh wait—- was I not supposed to answer this because I’m a woman?? 😂❤️✌️sorry!!”

“It's only a turn off when guys try stupid methods to cover up the fact they're balding...like comb overs and wigs.”

“My husband is 26 and almost completely bald. He started going bald around 22 and lost it rapidly.
I started dating him when he was mostly bald. I didn't care. In fact, I have a major Patrick Stewart fetish, so in a way it was a plus.
I won't lie, I look at pictures of him before he lost his hair and I sometimes wish he hadn't lost it, but that's very rare. I'm sure he looks at pictures of me when I was trying to become a model and wishes I still looked like that. It's him I love, not his hair.”

“I think it depends.
If someone is going bald but doesn't obsess/get self conscious about it/doesn't let if affect their confidence/the way they interact with people, I'm probably not going to see it as a major turn off.
I have a male friend who started to go bald very early, (he's in his mid 20s) and he constantly wears a baseball hat to make it less noticeable. I think this kind of attitude probably makes him less attractive to a lot of women - and thats why he's got trouble getting dates.”

“Whatever you do, DO NOT do the comb-over (which I'm sure you already know). If you're worried because of dating, any woman who would hold that against you is not the right one. If you're more concerned for your confidence, I've seen many men who made the choice to tattoo their entire scalp. That is an option I guess.”

“I can't speak for other women, but I personally find baldness (shaved, don't leave the few stragglers there) attractive on many men. However shallow it may be, though, when I think about the bald men I've found attractive over the years, they're all rather well-muscled - so being fit certainly helps you out.
What would make me less attracted to you is if you're obviously insecure about your baldness. Personality is a deal-breaker while baldness is not.”

“31F, my boyfriend is 35M and has thinning hair. I think he is wicked sexy, and I never look at his head and think, "Man I wish you had more hair." I don't see it as a negative at all. My boyfriend is intelligent, funny and super confident, and I think that's what I find sexy about him. Also I like how his fuzzy shaved head feels.”

“A few years ago my husband asked me to list all the actors I found attractive. I'm not once to crush on actors very much, so it was kind of hard but I was able to find about five.Turned out, they were all bald.
I think most women won't care, some will and some will like it. Overall, not a big deal.”

“My boyfriend is balding and, while I wouldn't say I am attracted to a receding hairline, I find him handsome because of other attractive physical features (nice smile, rather fit, etc) and I have gotten to know him as a smart, kind, funny person. Nobody is perfect, so if the worst thing about you is your hair is thinning, you are probably doing pretty well and will find a woman who can see that.”

“Yes, I have dated both bald men and men with hair, and I have no preference at all. This question is very subjective and it will vary from woman to woman.
But my most recent date was with a guy w/out hair and the only drawback is that they're always ready to go- it takes them no time to get ready so they will likely be waiting for you more often. But that's the only drawback in my opinion. :)”

So many men, so many minds, they say. Apparently, same rule applies to women, too! Are bald men sexy? It fully depends on personal preferences. As we can see, many women don't mind dating bald men.
If you’ve got a shiny skull without hair, here are some tips for dating as a bald man
They are bald, and they are everywhere. Some of the most handsome bald man in history include:
Patrick Stewart
Balding at the age of 19, it took Patrick Stewart just one year to become completely bald; as he said, “it was not only inhibiting as a person, but it was hopeless if you were an actor, of course.” Self-acceptance was a key moment for him and his career.
Stanley Tucci
Being described as "sexy" 15.6 million times in blogs, reports, and pages, Stanley Tucci is definitely considered one of the sexiest bald men on the Internet.
The Rock
“I'm not bald because I went bald. I'm bald because my hair is a cross between an afro and hair from a Lama's ball sac”,jokes Dwayne Johnson.
Telly Savalas
First, he went bald for the role of Pontius Pilatethe, he liked the shaved head look so much that he never grew his hair back again and remained bald for almost 30 years.
Jason Statham
It doesn’t look like he has ever had issues with attracting women, huh?
The Final Say
Hair loss is unavoidable mostly because of genetics for a large number of people. Some of them prefer to hide it, whereas others decide to be bald and charismatic. Anyways, girls like masculinity that is maybe even easier to find in a guy who has a head deprived of hair.
]]>This article seems pretty reasonable but in reality, when we think about getting shaved bald we should remember that it is society that makes shaved hair such a big deal whereas in reality, it is not.
We can tell you not to care about others opinions and just do it but it would not be honest.
From our experience, we know that it is easier said than done. Human beings, thanks to evolution, are social species and unfortunately, we are in a society right now when we have to think too much before doing something to our hair. That is why we have done great research to not only tell you the benefits of shaving your head but truly prepare you for this step. We will tell you about all the myths because it is crucial to have realistic expectations when you are deciding to go for a bald girl haircut to not find yourself standing in front of a mirror and asking “I shaved my head now what?”. We guarantee that at the end of the article you will not question yourself with “Should I shave my head as a woman”.
There is a common myth that if you shave your hair it will grow back stronger.
To shed some light on this myth we have gathered reasons and facts to find out what causes bald spots in women's hair? There is a false belief that hair loss affects only men. The truth is that more than 50% of women struggle with hair loss and the most common cause of it is a condition called male pattern baldness in women.
Actually, hair loss can be caused by different factors and can be either permanent or temporary. Let’s break down the most common and important ones:
The truth is that there are very few women's baldness remedies that can actually prevent hair loss, but, trust us, hair does not define who you are.
In addition to the above-mentioned statement, let’s talk about several benefits of being bald that will help other women understand why women are shaving their heads and answer to the question “Should I shave my head as a woman”.
The answer to "Should i shave my head as girl?" is yes, in case you want to experiment with your look and have new emotions, get an eye-catching appearance, have no bad hair days or just save time and money!
You will never understand the feeling of being bald unless you become one. In order to help you overcome your fears, we have searched “women shaving stories” all over Google and found the most interesting ones to share with you.
“I was in the shower one day, and just handfuls of hair [was] just in my hands,” Jada said. “I was just like, ‘oh my God, am I going bald?’ It was one of those times in my life that I was literally shaking with fear.” Then she spoke about changing her perspective and thinking about all of the things other people are losing. She accepted the fact that hair is something small compared to everything else she could lose.” - Jada Pinket Smith
"Shaving off my hair is so liberating. I had to do it once for a film role, but I've done it periodically, too," Cate Blanchett
"I don't feel like me unless I have my hair shaved," Sinead O'Connor. "So even when I'm an old lady, I'm going to have it."

“...I loved having a shaved head, I felt feminine and pretty still. Of course there were bad days but even when I had long hair I would have those days.People responded to me and my appearance much the same way as when I had long hair. It made me realise that what people find attractive about someone is a whole package of things not just one attribute.”
“As a bald woman I have felt more attractive than when I had hair. Not worrying about if a man is going to like my hairstyle or how I’m going to do it the next day. It’s just so stress free. ”
“ had my head shaved due to trichotillomania two years ago. It was cured about three months ago and I have decided to keep my head shaved because I feel in love with the look and it is much easier to manage than my out of control curls. Ten minutes shaving each morning beats an hour and a half washing, conditioning, drying and flat ironing. Since being bald, I am in and out of the shower in five minutes. I can't count how much money I have saved since I no longer need shampoo and conditioner….”
“I was a teenager in the 80s when punk was in. This meant that a good number of girls rocked short/shaved hair. I guess it helped that I was living in NYC. The girls with the short hair seemed cooler, edgier, and more confident to me than girls with the typical long hair. In 11th grade, I had my hair cut short enough that it spiked up on its own. I don't know if it was the most flattering look for me because I have a round face, but I liked what short hair on a girl represented to me.
I'm in my 40s now and I'm very sad when I see young girls. Everyone seems to have adopted the same long haired look….”
Also, we have found many stories that people shared during covid pandemic. This difficult period brought solitude and depression in many people’s lives, which eventually increased the urge for drastic changes in order to fill the emotional “gap”. There are also many people who are saying that they eventually found the strength to try things they always wanted, like trying different hairstyles. Both men and women cut, trimmed and even shaved their hair on their own and shared their experience on social media to inspire others.
What if you regret shaving your hair? We are sure that questions like “Would i look good with a shaved head as a woman?”, “What if I regret shaving my head as a woman?” are rushing through your mind right now.
Let’s be honest!
Femininity and sexuality have always been women's superpowers 😎 There is no doubt about that!
But beauty standards have drastically shifted since Ancient Greece.
Whether you are a completely shaved woman, a “buzz cut girl”, “mohawks woman”, a “side shaved girl” or a long-haired woman, you are still the same person. You are not your hair! Many women on the other hand expect that after shaving their hair bald they will immediately become very confident and bold. The truth is that it may not add you confidence because again it is just hair or in this case, it is just their absence. What really can impact your life is the fact that you did what you wanted. You shaved your hair! If you continue to do what you want every day, that is when your life will change. It is not your shaved scalp that will change your life, it is you and your everyday decisions.
Another important question that probably will hugely impact your final decision is “Do men like bald women?” “Will I still be attractive with the new haircut?” Well naturally, people have different tastes and preferences and while many men would kill for long, silky smooth hair, the good news is there are so many who find female baldness the sexiest thing ever.
As a proof, below are some comments from users on the web:
“It’s not the norm, but I dated a guy once who asked me if I would ever consider wearing a shaved head. It was just something he liked for whatever reason.”
“YES!!! i find bald women extremely attractive!!! I think it shows confidence and I myself find it very feminine.. Whether being bald is from a medical condition or by choice, a bald woman is tops in my book”
“Did you watch Black Panther (2018) (also avengers endgame)? Remember all the Wakanda warrior women? They were almost all bald .. and …Yeah.. I’d call them hot! Just trust and honour yourself. I think that makes many women seem pretty beautiful.”
“Yes. I was quite smitten by a woman I met at Burning Man in 2012. She had a condition that caused her to lose all her hair, namely, alopecia. Her beautiful face made up for her lack of hair. I still think about that face. She got married a few years ago, as I found out on Facebook. Her husband is a very lucky man.”
“I have been on dates with three women who were bald. Two were by choice and one had alopecia universalis. I found all three extremely attractive. As much as I like women with conventional hairstyles, I'd have to say that in the last decade and a half to two, I've been seemingly more attracted to women with edgy hairstyles, which would include women with mohawks and women who shave their heads completely bald. I not only find the look extremely sexy, but the confidence it takes to sport it is a big turn-on for me. As of recent, beautiful bald women in my immediate area are like unicorns, so my chances of finding an unmarried one to date are slim to none. I would definitely date another bald woman and even settle down with one, if luck should find me.”
"There are plenty of men who date and even marry bald women. Some will even go as far as shaving their own head in support of their woman. My husband is always telling me to shave my head and just buy wigs so I can have a different hairstyle every day of the week. Beauty is not just what is seen with the eye, it is much deeper than that."
“I would definitely date a bald lady. I find them super attractive and the confidence is a big turn on for me. I really like the bald / shaved head ladies that have tattooed their scalp.”
“Hell yes. My wife shaved her head a few years ago and i begged her to stay that way. She did for a while and even went smooth a few times, that looked even better. I asked her to stay that way and even considered electrolysis to stay smooth. She seemed committed to stay that way but changed her mind unfortunately. Recently she confessed why. That if she stayed bald, she would have to get it tattooed. Again I couldn't see a problem but she was worried just how far she may go. Since then she wears a septum ring and I said it would compliment a shaved head. Fingers crossed.”
